A warm and welcoming family is seeking an experienced Housekeeper to oversee the presentation and upkeep of two private residences in Buckinghamshire and London.

Initially, the successful candidate will focus primarily on the Buckinghamshire property, before gradually assuming responsibility for the London residence over the first 3–6 months. Throughout this transition period, the role will remain full-time.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Housekeeper who enjoys working independently across multiple properties and can confidently ensure both homes are maintained to an exceptional standard.

Key Responsibilities

Housekeeping

• Maintaining both residences to an immaculate standard
• Cleaning, dusting, vacuuming and mopping throughout each property
• Preparing bedrooms, bathrooms and guest accommodation
• Changing bed linen and ensuring all rooms are beautifully presented
• Organising cupboards, storage spaces and household inventories
• Undertaking seasonal deep cleaning and household organisation projects
• Caring for fine furnishings, delicate surfaces and valuable household items

Laundry & Household Support

• Managing all laundry and ironing across both homes
• Wardrobe organisation and garment care
• Maintaining linen and towel inventories
• Organising household supplies and provisions
• Receiving and unpacking deliveries

Household Coordination

• Acting as a trusted point of contact for contractors and household suppliers
• Supervising access for tradespeople and service providers
• Reporting maintenance issues and ensuring works are completed appropriately
• Assisting with the smooth day-to-day running of both residences
• Watering indoor plants and supporting the presentation of outdoor entertaining areas

Candidate Requirements

• Previous experience working within private households
• Exceptional housekeeping and laundry skills
• Experience managing multiple properties would be advantageous
• Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
• Proactive, discreet and self-sufficient
• Warm, professional and adaptable
• Full UK driving licence essential
• Enhanced DBS preferred
