Our client, a private family with a fully staffed household in Kensington, is seeking an experienced and professional Full-Time Housekeeper to join their established team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the home to an exceptionally high standard, working collaboratively with the wider household team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Full housekeeping and cleaning to a high standard
• Laundry and ironing, including care of delicate garments
• Occasional assistance in the kitchen, including cleaning surfaces and general support
• Pet care for the family’s three dogs, as required, with responsibilities shared amongst the household team
• Occasional travel with the family, although this is unlikely to be required during the first year
• Working alongside the existing household team to ensure the smooth running of the home

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a private household or high-end environment
• Excellent attention to detail and high standards of presentation
• Confident with laundry and ironing
• A team player with a positive and flexible approach
• Comfortable working around children and animals
• Discreet, reliable and professional

The household includes one school-aged child, who is supported by a Nanny. There are also three dogs in the residence. The successful candidate should therefore be child and animal-friendly.

Location: Kensington, London
Hours: Tuesday–Saturday, 11:00am–8:00pm
Salary: £48,000 per annum
Benefits: Annual bonus + £50 per week food allowance
