Job Title: Houseman/Driver (Live-Out)
Location: Oxfordshire, Banbury
Contract Type: Permanent, Full-Time

Our client, a private household based in Banbury, is seeking a reliable, adaptable, and discreet Live-Out Houseman/Driver to join their team. The role is offered on a permanent basis and will be shared on a rota with another Houseman/Driver. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional with private household experience who is seeking long-term stability in a varied and hands-on position.

Duties to include but not limited to:

• Carrying out school runs and pick-ups
• Driving family members as required, including ad hoc journeys and errands
• Maintaining and cleaning household vehicles
• Assisting with general household maintenance, including light DIY and painting
• Overseeing and coordinating household maintenance requirements
• Walking and caring for the family dog when required
• Opening and closing the residence, ensuring security and vigilance
• Running ad hoc errands and providing flexible support to the family as needed

Candidate Requirements

• Previous experience in a private household setting
• Full, clean UK driving licence
• Background in maintenance/handyman work (desirable)
• Knowledge of basic electrics (desirable)
• Previous experience as a chauffeur and/or houseman
• Valid DBS check (or willingness to obtain)
• Professional, discreet, and kind in manner
• Adaptable and committed to a long-term role

Working Hours & Schedule

• Hours: 8:00am – 5:00/6:00pm
• Rota: Week 1 (Monday – Friday), Week 2 (Wednesday – Sunday)
• Flexibility required to meet household needs
• Start Date: ASAP
