Our UHNW client who is based in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is looking for an experienced Female Laundry Manager (due to cultural reasons).

The Laundry Manager is responsible for overseeing the full day-to-day operations of the laundry facility and its team, ensuring a safe, organised, and efficient working environment. This role combines leadership with hands-on involvement, maintaining the highest standards of care for guest garments, linens, and staff uniforms whilst ensuring proper training, cost control, and departmental planning.

General Duties and Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage a team of approximately 20 staff working on rotating shifts
• Personally manage guests' personal laundry while supervising the team in handling guest linens and staff uniforms
• Sort and classify laundry by colour, fabric type, level of soiling, and cleaning technique required
• Apply advanced stain removal and cleaning techniques to maintain impeccable garment standards
• Mix and handle detergents, bleaches, dyes, starches, and other laundry chemicals safely and effectively
• Ensure regular maintenance of laundry equipment, including cleaning filters and lubricating machinery
• Possess advanced knowledge of fabrics such as silk, cotton, linen, poly-cotton blends, and upholstery
• Source and manage laundry supplies, materials, and equipment in coordination with procurement
• Prepare and manage departmental budgets, ensuring cost control and efficient use of consumables, chemicals, and resources
• Plan departmental needs in alignment with operational requirements and seasonal demands
• Train, coach, and retrain laundry staff to maintain consistent quality and luxury service standards
• Conduct structured departmental training sessions to improve technical skills and professional development
• Maintain clear communication with the housekeeping department to ensure seamless service
• Lead the team hands-on, assisting on the floor during peak periods or when required
• Act as the department lead in the absence of senior leadership, confidently managing and motivating the team while keeping Supervisors informed of operations
• Monitor and manage the use of chemicals, linen, and consumables with cost-efficiency
• Ensure proper care and respect for property, linens, and garments at all times
• Uphold high-end laundry delivery standards, including garment folding, use of delivery baskets, and tissue wrapping
• Ensure compliance with fire, safety, and security procedures
• Possess basic sewing knowledge for minor repairs such as button replacement and hem stitching

Salary: 14,875 SAR – 21,250 SAR
Working days: 6 days a week

Work experience requirements: Minimum 3-5 Years of Experience on the same or similar role
