Position: Maintenance Gardener & Housekeeper (Couple)

Salary: £70,000 gross per annum
Accommodation: Superb 3-bedroom cottage with private garden (all bills included, Sky broadband), pets welcome

About the Role:

A stunning Oxfordshire estate is seeking a professional and flexible couple to join the household team as a Maintenance Gardener and Housekeeper. The role requires teamwork and adaptability, as the estate already employs a Chef and Gardener, and the right candidates will integrate seamlessly into this environment. There are no children at home, and cooking is not required.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintenance Gardener:

• Assist with general garden maintenance alongside the estate gardener
• Support upkeep of estate grounds and outdoor areas
• Occasional driving for station or airport runs (only one driver needed)
• Dog walking and general pet care
• Accompany the household on occasional travel to South France (own accommodation provided)

Housekeeper:

• General housekeeping duties, maintaining the home to a high standard
• Care and cleaning of fine fabrics, antiques, and delicate surfaces
• General household maintenance support as needed
• Occasional assistance with driving and errands as above

Working Hours:

• 5 days per week, 8:00am – 5:00pm with a 1-hour lunch and tea break
• Weekend work on a rota basis, with 2 weekdays off in return

Requirements:

• Strong teamwork skills and a flexible, proactive approach
• Experience in high-standard housekeeping and estate maintenance
• Driving license preferred for occasional travel
• Comfortable with occasional travel abroad (South France)
• Pets are welcome; however, this role is not suitable for dependants
