Live-in Handyman / Estate Maintenance
Location: Berkshire
Salary: Circa £40,000 GPA dependant on experience 
Working Schedule: 5 days per week, typically 08:00–17:00, with weekend flexibility

A welcoming private household in Berkshire is seeking a practical and reliable Handyman to assist with the upkeep of a beautiful Georgian home and its surrounding 150+ acre estate.

You will work alongside an established team in a friendly, informal environment, supporting the smooth running and maintenance of the property and wider estate.

Responsibilities

• General handyman duties and property maintenance
• Grounds and garden upkeep, supporting the Farm Manager and Head Gardener
• Assisting the Estate Manager with maintenance and repairs
• Maintaining estate facilities, including the gym and indoor swimming pool
• Seasonal tasks, including log preparation
• Car and window cleaning
• General all-round support across the estate as required

Candidate Requirements

• Previous handyman, maintenance, groundskeeping or similar practical experience
• A hands-on approach and confidence undertaking varied tasks
• Reliable, proactive and adaptable, with a positive can-do attitude
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Full, clean driving licence
• Animal-friendly, as there are dogs on the estate
• Excellent, checkable references; verbal references will be obtained
• Fluent English and non-smoker preferred
