Live-out Head Housekeeper

A private household in Istanbul is seeking an experienced, hands-on Head Housekeeper to oversee the day-to-day running of the home. This is a senior, operational role requiring a highly organised individual who leads by example while maintaining exceptional standards throughout the property.

The successful candidate will manage and support housekeeping staff, ensure the home is always presented to the highest level, and work closely with the wider household team to ensure smooth daily operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintaining impeccable cleanliness and presentation across all areas of the residence
• Overseeing laundry, wardrobe care, and the handling of fine fabrics and surfaces
• Managing household supplies and ensuring all areas are fully stocked and organised
• Supervising and supporting permanent and temporary housekeeping staff
• Coordinating with the House Manager and other staff to ensure seamless operations
• Assisting with service and guest preparation when required
• Monitoring and reporting maintenance issues

Requirements:

• Proven experience in a senior or Head Housekeeper role within a private household
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent knowledge of laundry, wardrobe care, and specialist cleaning
• Highly organised, proactive, and detail-oriented
• Professional, discreet, and reliable
• Fluency in Turkish is essential
