Live-in Housekeeper / Nanny

Location: Oslo, Norway
Start Date: 1st December 2025
Salary: €3,000 per month (negotiable)
Accommodation: Separate small apartment within the house, comprising 1 bedroom, kitchen, and living room.

Working Hours:

• Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8 hours per day (flexible schedule).
• Occasional evening babysitting and weekend support required, including trips to summer house and winter cabin.
• Assistance required during Christmas (from 26th December) and July – these periods are not available for vacation.

Family Composition:

• Mother, father, daughter (4 years), son (2 years)
• Residence size: 600 m²
• Other staff: None

Role Overview:

We are seeking a reliable, positive, and trustworthy Live-in Housekeeper / Nanny in Oslo to support our family with childcare and household management. The ideal candidate is experienced in childcare and housekeeping, works independently, pays attention to detail, and takes pride in their work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Full housekeeping duties including cleaning, deep cleaning, dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and maintaining bathrooms and kitchen.
• Laundry and ironing, including changing bed linens and towels.
• Keeping the home tidy, organised, and welcoming.
• Grocery shopping or running small errands (optional).
• Assisting with the children as needed: supervising play, occasional babysitting, picking up from kindergarten, supporting daily routines.
• Organising toys and children’s belongings.
• Flexibility to travel with the family to summer and winter homes when required.

Required Skills & Traits:

• Previous experience in childcare and housekeeping.
• Positive, kind, and trustworthy character.
• Detail-oriented, reliable, and able to work independently.
• Flexible and adaptable to changing schedules and family needs.

Additional Notes:

• Candidate must be available during key periods (Christmas, July).
• Occasional evening babysitting may be required.
