Our client based on a stunning 1,100-acre country estate situated close to Pulborough, West Sussex is seeking a Live-in Housekeeper to start ASAP.

They are a wonderfully warm and informal family of 4 consisting of 2 principals, their 2 daughters aged 17 & 20 as well as their dog and cat.

Duties include (but not limited to):

• All housekeeping duties
• Laundry
• Ironing
• Organising
• Antique care
• Gardening tasks including watering and checking vermin boxes (mowing the lawn on ride-on mower a bonus, training given)
• Cleaning/organising the converted stables and dovecote studio
• Occasional wedding/event duties (approx. 12-14 a year)
• Occasional cooking would be great - not essential
• Occasional housesitting

• Familiar with working with antiques and special ornaments
• Versatile
• Physically fit
• Pro-active
• Organised

A driver with own transport would be useful due to the location with the nearest shops about 5 miles away.

Accommodation: 1-bedroom stable apartment approximately 50 metres from main home - council tax, water bills included & £1000 towards the cost of electricity per year.
Days: Monday- Friday (12-14 wedding weekends per year: working Tuesday - Saturday usual hours). Holidays preferably taken outside wedding season.
Hours: 8am-5pm including 1 hour lunch break
Salary: £35,000-£40,000 GPA DOE
