A warm and welcoming family based in Europe is seeking an experienced, long-term Live-In Housekeeper / Family Assistant to support the smooth running of their busy household.

The family consists of two adults, two young children and a small family dog. They are looking for a proactive, organised and highly professional candidate who can confidently manage all housekeeping duties to an exceptional standard whilst also assisting with light childcare and family support.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Housekeeper seeking a long-term role within a respectful and welcoming household.

Accommodation
The successful candidate will be provided with a private self-contained apartment comprising:

Duties & Responsibilities

Housekeeping

• Maintaining the property to an immaculate standard at all times
• Daily cleaning, tidying and household organisation
• Caring for fine furnishings, delicate surfaces and household items
• Managing household inventories and supplies
• Organising cupboards, wardrobes and storage areas
• Managing recycling and household waste
• Undertaking occasional deep cleaning projects
• Ensuring the home remains guest-ready and beautifully presented

Laundry & Wardrobe Management

• Managing all family laundry
• Ironing and pressing garments to a high standard
• Caring for delicate and luxury clothing
• Wardrobe organisation and seasonal wardrobe changes
• Maintaining linen and towel inventories

Childcare Support

• Assisting with after-school care
• Supervising the children during the afternoon and early evening when required
• Supporting daily routines
• Preparing simple, healthy family meals and children's suppers

Household Support

• Grocery shopping and household errands
• Driving for household-related duties when required
• Assisting with the smooth day-to-day running of the household
• Liaising with suppliers and service providers as necessary

Pet Care

• Daily care of the family's small dog
• Dog walking and general wellbeing

Candidate Requirements

• Proven experience working within private households
• Exceptional housekeeping and laundry skills
• Strong wardrobe management experience
• Previous childcare experience
• Full driving licence and confident driver
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
• Trustworthy, discreet and professional
• Flexible and adaptable approach
• Able to work independently and use initiative
• Strong spoken English essential

Additional European languages would be advantageous.
