Live-in Housekeeper
Location: Kensington, London
Salary: Circa £48,000 gross per annum
Working Days: Monday to Friday
Hours: 7:00am – 7:00pm, with a 1-hour lunch break
Accommodation: Private bedroom and bathroom within the property, provided Monday to Friday

A lovely family based in a 4-bedroom apartment in Kensington is seeking an experienced and reliable Live-In Housekeeper to join their household.

The family consists of two adults and two children, and they are looking for someone warm, professional and confident working to a high standard within a private family household.

Please note, this is a weekday live-in position. The Housekeeper will live at the property from Monday to Friday and will be expected to live out at weekends.

Duties will include:

• General housekeeping and maintaining the property to a very high standard
• Cleaning, laundry, ironing and wardrobe care
• Meal preparation and cooking for the family
• Providing occasional childcare and assisting with the children when required
• Supporting the family with the smooth running of the household
• Assisting with ad hoc household duties as required
• Providing occasional babysitting when required

The ideal candidate will:

• Have previous experience working within a private family household
• Have proven experience caring for children
• Have excellent housekeeping and organisational skills
• Be confident with family-style cooking and meal preparation
• Be warm, discreet, professional and reliable
• Be flexible and happy to assist with both housekeeping and childcare duties
• Hold a current Enhanced DBS, or be willing to undertake one
• Be comfortable with a weekday live-in arrangement and living out at weekends

A private bedroom and bathroom are provided within the property for the duration of the working week.
