Live-In Housekeeper
Location: Windsor
Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 gross per annum, dependent on experience
Start Date: ASAP
Working Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 7:00pm with appropriate breaks throughout the day
Accommodation: A self-contained flat with a separate entrance is provided as part of the role. The accommodation offers privacy and independence, and partners are welcome to reside in the accommodation with the successful candidate. Bills included.

Overview

A warm and professional family based in Windsor are seeking an experienced and dedicated Housekeeper to support their busy household and assist with the care of their two children.

This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive, organised and hands-on candidate who enjoys working in a family environment. While childcare and family cooking are not essential requirements, a willingness to help with these aspects of the household would be a real bonus.

The family are looking for someone who is naturally caring, kind and approachable, with a positive, cheerful personality and a genuine enjoyment of working within a busy family home.

Duties and Responsibilities

• General housekeeping duties to maintain the family home to a high standard
• Laundry and ironing duties
• Preparing meals for the family is a bonus but not essential
• Ensuring the household runs smoothly and efficiently on a day-to-day basis

Candidate Requirements

• Caring, nurturing and engaging with the children
• Positive, friendly and approachable with a warm personality
• Highly organised and able to manage a varied workload independently
• Flexible and adaptable to the needs of a busy family household

Essential Requirements

• Previous experience working within a similar private household position
• Valid DBS certificate or willingness to obtain one
• Excellent contactable references
