Overview

An excellent opportunity has become available for an experienced, discreet, and highly organised Live-In Housekeeper/Nanny to join a private high-net-worth household. This dual-role position requires a proactive, flexible, and professional individual who can confidently support both childcare and full household management.

The successful candidate will be warm, trustworthy, and committed to maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, organisation, and childcare support within a busy but well-structured home environment.

Key Responsibilities

Housekeeping Duties

• Full responsibility for maintaining a pristine, well-organised home to luxury standards
• Daily cleaning, deep cleaning, and general upkeep of all rooms and living spaces
• Laundry and wardrobe management, including care of delicate fabrics and designer items
• Bed making, linen changes, and general household presentation
• Inventory management of household supplies and reordering where necessary
• Liaising with external contractors and suppliers when required
• Assisting with light service duties during occasional entertaining

Childcare Duties

• Providing attentive, nurturing, and structured care for the children
• Supporting daily routines including meals, dressing, school preparation, and bedtime
• Assisting with homework and educational activities where appropriate
• Babysitting duties, including occasional evenings
• Ensuring children’s rooms and play areas are kept clean, organised, and well-maintained

Candidate Requirements

• Previous experience in a similar Live-In Housekeeper/Nanny role within a private HNW/UHNW household
• Strong housekeeping experience with exceptional attention to detail
• Prior childcare/nanny experience with excellent, checkable references
• Professional, discreet, and respectful of confidentiality at all times
• Flexible, adaptable, and able to anticipate household needs
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills
• Warm, calm, and child-friendly personality
• Fluent English (additional languages advantageous)
• Enhanced DBS check (or equivalent) preferred
• Ability to work independently and take initiative with minimal supervision

Working Hours

Typically 5 days per week
Flexibility required, including occasional evenings and weekends (with time off in lieu or overtime compensation)
