Role Overview

This is a full-time live-in role focused entirely on childcare and child development. The Nanny will engage the toddler in stimulating, age-appropriate activities while supporting the mother with the newborn’s early care. The household already employs staff for cleaning and heavy domestic work.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and lead age-appropriate activities: play, reading, music, and outdoor walks
• Support the toddler’s daily routine, including meals, naps, and bedtime
• Assist the mother with newborn care (soothing, feeding, hygiene, bottle preparation)
• Maintain tidy and organised play and nursery areas
• Prepare and pack children’s clothing and travel essentials when moving between homes
• Provide simple daily updates on the children’s routines and wellbeing
• Maintain a calm, nurturing environment and ensure child safety at all times

Schedule & Time Off

• Flexibility required during the early newborn period
• Regular rest days will be scheduled once routines stabilise
• Any missed rest days will be taken later as protected time off or compensated

Accommodation

• Private bedroom (not shared)
• Private ensuite bathroom
• Air conditioning / heating and high-speed Wi-Fi
• All meals, toiletries, and laundry provided
• Calm, non-smoking, family environment
• Privacy respected

Travel

• Travel with the family between their two homes within Pakistan
• Assist with packing and keeping the toddler’s routines consistent while travelling

Candidate Requirements

• Calm, caring, and emotionally stable around infants and toddlers
• Basic English communication preferred
• Previous experience in nursery, early childhood, childcare, au pair, or nanny roles
• Hygienic, organised, and attentive to safety
• Comfortable with live-in family life and long-term placements (12+ months)
• Respectful of a Muslim family environment (no alcohol, modest presentation, no online posting about the family or children)
