Job Title: Live-in Nanny
Location: Canterbury, Kent
Salary: Weekly salary depending on experience + travel expenses

Hours & Working Pattern

Term Time (Approx. 32 hours per week)

• Working Days: Saturday night to Wednesday morning (children with father)
• Days Off: Wednesday afternoon to Saturday afternoon (children with mother)
• Working Hours:  Morning: 5:00am–8:30am; Evening: 5:00pm–9:30pm

School Holidays / Travel Weeks:

• Increased cover of 40–45 hours per week
• Additional daytime support when camps are not running
• Full cover when father is travelling (domestic or international; all expenses covered)

Family Details

2 children:

• Boy – 10 years (ADHD, medication managed)
• Girl – 8 years

Single-parent household. Children alternate between both parents; role based primarily with father.

Role Overview

Seeking a kind, proactive, and reliable Live-in Nanny to support school routines, evenings, and offer full cover during holidays or when the father is travelling. The role involves a mix of nanny duties, light household support, and ensuring calm, structured routines. Occasional domestic and international travel required.

Key Responsibilities

• Support morning and evening routines
• Prompt medication for Boy (10) and assist with transitions
• Prepare simple, healthy meals for the children
• School runs and activity collection (walking or short drive)
• Assist with homework and educational engagement
• Light child-related housekeeping (laundry, tidying, lunch prep)
• Provide sole charge during school holidays and when father travels
• Maintain positive, organised, and communicative environment

Candidate Requirements

• Experience with school-age children
• Calm, patient, and consistent approach
• Understanding of ADHD or neurodivergence (advantageous)
• Right to work in the UK
• DBS check (or willing to obtain) and two references
• Driver preferred but not essential
• Confident working within a relaxed but professional single-parent household
