Overview

An experienced, warm, and professional Live-in Nanny is sought for a lovely family based in Chelsea. The family have three children: an 8-year-old girl and 2-year-old twins (one girl and one boy). The successful candidates will each take primary responsibility for one of the twins, ensuring they receive individualised care and attention whilst working closely together as a team.
The family are looking for two confident and engaging nannies who are happy to work collaboratively with a hands-on mother. The role is predominantly childcare focused, with light housekeeping duties carried out during the day whilst the children are at nursery/school and occasional ad hoc tasks to support the smooth running of the household.

The family travel to the USA during school holidays, so candidates must be happy and able to travel.

Working Schedule

• 5 days per week on a rotating schedule
• Alternate weekends with the other nanny

Example rotation:

• Week 1: Monday to Friday
• Week 2: Five consecutive days including the weekend, with two consecutive days off during the week
• Working hours: 7:00am – 7:00pm
• 2-hour break during the day whilst the children are at school/nursery

Duties:

Childcare

• Provide exceptional care for one of the twins whilst working alongside the second nanny
• Plan engaging, age-appropriate activities to encourage learning and development
• Support all aspects of the children's daily routines
• Prepare healthy meals and snacks for the children
• Assist with nursery/school routines
• Accompany the family on trips, including travel to the USA during school holidays
• Work closely with Mum to ensure consistency in the children's care

Housekeeping

• Children's laundry and wardrobe organisation
• Keeping children's bedrooms, play areas and belongings clean and organised
• Preparing children's meals
• Light household duties during school/nursery hours
• Ad hoc tasks to assist Mum when required

Household

• Busy family home in a beautiful six-storey townhouse with a garden
• Mother is primarily based at home and is very involved in the children's care
• Male Principal travels frequently
• Fully staffed household including: Housekeeper, House Manager/PA

Accommodation

The successful candidates will be provided with private staff accommodation within the property, separate from the family's main living areas, including:

• Large private bedroom
• Shared staff bathroom (with the other nanny)
• Shared staff living room
• Shared kitchenette

Candidate Requirements

• Have previous experience caring for toddlers within a private household
• Be confident working alongside another nanny and within a fully staffed home
• Be warm, cheerful and positive with an approachable nature
• Be discreet, professional and respectful of the family's privacy
• Have excellent communication skills
• Be proactive and happy to assist where needed
• Be organised, flexible and able to adapt to the family's routines
• Hold a valid DBS and First Aid certificate
• Be happy to travel internationally, including to the USA
