Live-Out Butler
Location: Marylebone, London
Salary: £60,000 gross per annum
Start Date: ASAP
Working Hours: 5 shifts per week over 7 days, on a rota basis. Shifts are 7:00am - 4:00pm, 9:00am - 6:00pm and 12:00pm - 9:00pm, with flexibility required for the late shift, which can occasionally finish later

Our clients are seeking an experienced, polished Butler to join their fully staffed private household in Marylebone, delivering exceptional food and beverage service to a consistently high standard.

The household is supported by a full team, including housekeepers, other butlers, a house manager and chefs. The Butler will work as part of this team on a rotating shift pattern covering five shifts across seven days.

The successful candidate will be professional, discreet and highly attentive, with strong food and beverage experience and a confident, personable manner. They will be comfortable working both in a quiet family setting and at occasional larger gatherings, and will take real pride in delivering seamless service.

Duties to include, but are not limited to:

• Dinner service to a high standard
• Food and wine service
• Supporting and hosting occasional parties and entertaining events
• Working collaboratively with the housekeeping team, house manager and chefs
• Maintaining the household’s exceptionally high standards at all times
• Flexibility across the rota of shifts, including weekends and occasional late finishes

Candidate Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Butler or in a similar role in a private household
• Strong food and beverage experience (essential)
• Experience of formal dinner service and wine service
• Flexible and able to work all shift patterns, including weekends and occasional late finishes
• Highly organised, discreet and professional with excellent attention to detail
• Team player with a positive, can-do attitude
• Excellent, checkable references
• Right to work in the UK
