Our client, based in St John's Wood, is seeking a confident and trustworthy self-employed Part-time Housekeeper to assist in their home to start ASAP

There are 2 adults, no children or pets, situated in a 2 bedroom, one bathroom apartment all on one floor.  The couple have 14 ft ceilings and a lot of period features so someone who is adept at dusting.

Duties include (but not limited to):

• Wardrobe management is extremely important, with the ability to organise a wardrobe
• Comfortable with unpacking suitcases is a must as the family travel a lot
• Ironing, with an understanding of delicate and expensive clothing - this applies to clothes washing and laundry
• Should have knowledge of what items should be hand-washed etc, and check washing temperatures etc
• Ability to organise drawers etc
• General cleaning, knowing how to work with expensive surfaces (marble, antique wood, brass hardware)
• Thorough cleaning and dusting of all surfaces, lights etc
• Diligent at cleaning the bathroom, glass, mirrors etc
• Refill cotton pads, shampoos etc as and when needed without being asked
• Regularly clean the fridge, kitchen cupboards, and most importantly being careful with everything and not causing any damage
• Making the bed nicely, changing sheets weekly, changing towels

The family are seeking someone who not only cleans what they see but really dusts all skirting, doors, lights etc too, and takes care of the household and informs the client when stock of products is running low.

Days: 2 days per week
Hours: 5 hours per day
Hourly Rate: £20.00 GPH - on a self-employed basis
