We are seeking a diligent and proactive Live-out House Manager to oversee the operations of a residence in New York. The ideal candidate will be highly organised, detail-oriented, and capable of maintaining a permanent state of readiness within the residence. This role offers an excellent work/life balance with the flexibility to work longer hours when the client is in residence.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the housekeeping staff, including scheduling, training, and performance management.
• Provide support to staff, ensuring seamless coordination and communication.
• Maintain the residence in a permanent state of readiness, including regular inspections and proactive maintenance.
• Regularly inspect residence, assets, and communal areas for damage and maintenance requirements.
• Oversee day-to-day management tasks, including but not limited to coordinating deliveries, managing household budgets, and handling household inventories.
• Prepare and produce monthly reports detailing household activities, expenses, and any notable incidents.
• Consider and make recommendations for the improved operation and management
• Coordinating with the maintenance team, all approved third party service providers for maintenance services as required.
• Assistance with the management of utility accounts.
• Maintain security protocols and be vigilant in ensuring the safety and privacy of the residence and its occupants.
• Act as a point of contact for contractors, vendors, and service providers, coordinating their activities as necessary.
• Handle any ad-hoc requests or duties as assigned by the principal.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a high-end residential setting.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Strong leadership abilities with a proactive and hands-on approach.
• Ability to work independently and prioritise tasks effectively.
• Flexibility to work longer hours when the client is in residence.
• Discretion and respect for confidentiality.
• Knowledge of security protocols and emergency procedures is desirable.
• Must be legally eligible to work in the United States.
