House Manager – Japanese-Inspired UHNW Residence

Our private client, a discerning UHNW individual with multiple international residences, is seeking an experienced and meticulous House Manager to oversee the daily operations and overall presentation of his Singapore residence. The property is designed with a strong influence of Japanese aesthetics and minimalism, and the ideal candidate will be someone who shares a deep appreciation for this refined and serene style and/or has great attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure the daily maintenance, presentation, and organisation of the residence and gardens are aligned with the principal’s expectations and Japanese design preferences
• Lead and coordinate the housekeeping team, ensuring consistently high standards of cleanliness and order
• Act as the main liaison with the principal, ensuring preferences are understood, upheld, and exceeded
• Provide attentive care to bonsai trees and other indoor/outdoor plants, maintaining their appearance and health
• Take a hands-on approach when needed, particularly during events, visits, or busy household periods

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Prior experience managing Japanese-style interiors; experience working or living in Japan will be highly regarded
• A keen eye for detail and a refined sense of aesthetics and order
• Singapore residency or full right to work in Singapore – essential
• A discreet, polished, and professional manner, with the ability to anticipate the needs of an ultra-high-net-worth household
• Proven experience managing luxury homes to the highest standard
