Requirements:

Operational Expertise

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in a similar role in a private household, preferably in New York or elsewhere in the US
• Solid knowledge of managing and maintaining high-end New York residential properties, including understanding of local vendors, services, and household operations in NYC
• Experience coordinating with building management, doormen, and service providers in NYC properties
• Familiarity with the unique needs and expectations of High-profile guests

Housekeeping Excellence:

• Expertise in maintaining and caring for luxury interiors, furnishings, and finishes
• Deep knowledge of proper cleaning techniques, products, and care for fine fabrics, antiques, silver, art, etc
• Strong laundry and wardrobe management skills, including proper washing, stain treatment, pressing, steaming, and ironing of delicate and high-end garments
• Ability to create and maintain daily, weekly, and seasonal cleaning and maintenance schedules

Administrative & Organizational Skills:

• Excellent multitasking and prioritization skills, able to handle day-to-day cleaning alongside operational requests seamlessly
• Good administrative skills, including maintaining household inventories, ordering supplies, and liaising with vendors and contractors
• Strong follow-up to ensure all tasks and services are completed to a high standard

Character & Communication:

• Solid, trustworthy, and professional character with high discretion and respect for privacy
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with principals, vendors, and any household team
• Positive attitude, calm under pressure, and solution-oriented

Residency & Availability:

• Must already be legally eligible to work in the US
• Must be resident in New York City or surrounding areas, with a reliable commute to the property
• This is a live-out position — housing is not provided
