Position Overview

A private family based in the beautiful area of Arcore, north of Milan, is seeking an experienced and reliable Housekeeper to join their household team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation and organisation throughout the property. Working alongside other household staff, the Housekeeper should be comfortable as part of a team while also being confident managing their own duties independently.
The ideal candidate will take great pride in their work, have exceptional attention to detail and understand the standards required within a private family residence.

Working Schedule:

• Tuesday – Friday: 11:30 – 19:30
• Saturday: 09:00 – 17:00
• Total: 40 hours per week

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintaining the household to an exceptional standard of cleanliness and presentation
• Cleaning and caring for all areas of the property, including bedrooms, bathrooms, living areas and shared spaces
• Dusting, vacuuming, mopping and completing general housekeeping duties
• Ensuring the home remains organised, tidy and well presented at all times
• Caring for delicate surfaces, furnishings, fabrics and household items appropriately
• Using suitable cleaning products and techniques for different materials and finishes
• Managing laundry, ironing and care of clothing and linens as required
• Working collaboratively with other members of the household team to ensure the smooth running of the property
• Assisting with additional housekeeping duties when required
• Being comfortable working in a family environment and around children

Candidate Profile:

• An experienced professional Housekeeper with previous private household experience
• Highly organised, reliable and conscientious with excellent attention to detail
• Knowledgeable in luxury housekeeping standards, cleaning techniques and product usage
• Experienced in caring for fine furnishings, delicate fabrics and high-quality finishes
• Comfortable working both independently and as part of a wider household team
• Discreet, trustworthy and respectful of the family’s privacy
• Flexible and willing to assist with additional household requirements when needed
• Child-friendly and comfortable working within a family environment
