Our clients, based in a historic market town near Oxford, are seeking a temporary Private Cook. The role involves preparing a simple breakfast, a light lunch, and a 2–3 course evening meal each day.

This position would suit a cook living locally who is comfortable producing fresh, straightforward home-style cooking, and occasional fine dining for dinner parties.

Duties include but not limited to:

• Preparing and serving breakfast, lunch and dinner
• Additional cooking for occasional entertaining of family and friends
• Grocery shopping and local errands
• Occasional local driving

Requirements for the role:

• Confident and proficient in the kitchen with a sound knowledge of preparing and serving a variety of menus
• High standard of presentation and attention to detail
• Well organised with good time management
• Adaptable to household requirements
• Calm and friendly demeanor

Working days: Usually weekends
Hours: Start 8.30 a.m, lunch 1.00 p.m. (usually light lunch unless guests or family), dinner usually 7.00 p.m.
Salary: £25 per hour
