An UHNW private household in Mayfair is seeking an experienced and hands-on Maintenance Assistant to support the smooth running of the residence. This role requires a proactive individual with strong technical knowledge and a willingness to be fully involved in day-to-day maintenance tasks, ensuring the highest standards are consistently upheld.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out general maintenance across the property, including plumbing and basic electrical work
• Troubleshoot and manage internet/Wi-Fi issues and air conditioning systems
• Interpret and work from electrical and maintenance drawings
• Oversee external contractors, ensuring work is completed efficiently and not duplicated
• Maintain detailed reports on all maintenance work and ongoing projects
• Liaise with principals when required, clearly explaining works and updates
• Ensure the property is maintained to exceptional household standards at all times

Requirements

• Proven experience working within a high-net-worth (HNW/UHNW) private household
• Background in plumbing, electrics, or a related trade
• Strong understanding of property systems, including HVAC and internet infrastructure
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Hands-on, proactive approach with a “muck in” attitude
• Level-headed, reliable, and solutions-focused
• Excellent communication skills; articulate and well-presented
• Demonstrated longevity in previous roles
