Our client, a welcoming family based in Windsor, is seeking an experienced and highly organised Housekeeper to provide maternity cover for their permanent Housekeeper. The position offers the opportunity to work within a well-staffed and friendly household, alongside a live-in Nanny and a Personal Assistant, with additional support from a weekend Housekeeper.

The family will be relocating approximately 40 minutes away next September, and would love for the successful candidate to assist with, and transition to, the new household.

This role requires someone who is proactive, meticulous, and takes great pride in maintaining a beautifully presented home.

Key Responsibilities:

• Full housekeeping duties - ensuring all areas of the home are maintained to a high standard of cleanliness and presentation
• Laundry and garment care - including delicate and luxury fabrics
• Wardrobe management – seasonal organisation, packing/unpacking for travel, and general upkeep
• Pet care - daily walks, grooming, and vet appointments for the family’s miniature dachshund
• Errands and household tasks - grocery shopping, dry cleaning, and local collections/deliveries
• Inventory and stock management - monitoring and replenishing household supplies
• Light cooking and meal preparation - preparing lunches and assisting with family meal prep
• Liaising with contractors and tradespeople - overseeing visits and ensuring household maintenance runs smoothly
• Support for family events - assisting with preparation for birthdays, gatherings, and small functions

Requirements:

• Experienced Housekeeper - proven background in a private household with excellent references
• Strong organisational skills - high attention to detail and ability to prioritise tasks efficiently
• Pet-friendly and child-friendly - comfortable around children and the family dog
• Driver with own vehicle - essential for errands and travel between locations
• Discreet and professional - maintaining the utmost confidentiality at all times
• Team player - able to communicate effectively with other household staff members

Salary: £44,000 gross per annum
Hours: Monday – Friday, 7:00am – 3:30pm (occasional weekend support as required)
Start Date: December 2025
Contract: 12-Month Fixed Term
