Maternity Nurse

Accommodation: Shared room with the baby plus private area for downtime and privacy
Travel: Yes, occasional travel with the family (all expenses covered)

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced and qualified Maternity Nurse to support a VIP family welcoming a new baby expected in May–June.

The successful candidate will be confident, calm, discreet, and highly knowledgeable in newborn care, providing round-the-clock support during the early months.  The family ask the candidate to be flexible on the contract length. They initially think it will be for 6 months.

Key Responsibilities

• Providing full physical care for the newborn, including feeding, settling, bathing, and sleep routines
• Overnight care, including bottle feeding throughout the night
• Monitoring the baby’s health and wellbeing
• Communicating clearly and professionally with parents regarding all aspects of care
• Caring for the baby when unwell, including administering medication and attending medical appointments with parental consent
• Preparing for and travelling with the family when required
• Managing and maintaining all baby-related equipment (sterilisers, buggies, car seats, etc)
• Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the accommodation provided

Accommodation & Support

• Shared bedroom with the baby
• Access to a separate, private unit within the premises for rest time
• Full support from a dedicated household and security team, ensuring safety and wellbeing at all times

Candidate Requirements

• Extensive, verifiable experience as a Maternity Nurse
• Relevant professional certifications
• Calm, professional attitude with excellent behaviour and discretion
• Strong knowledge of newborn care and best practices
• Fluent communication skills
• Willingness to travel with the family
