Position: Part-time Private House Manager / PA
Location: Hampstead, London (minimum five mornings on-site per week)
Start Date: ASAP with handover period
Salary: Competitive, based on experience

An exceptional opportunity to support a busy family in Hampstead. This multifaceted role requires a highly organised, proactive, adaptable individual to manage a busy household, oversee maintenance and staff operations, coordinate multiple properties, and provide personal and business support.  The position is part-time with potential to expand.

Key Responsibilities

Property Management

  • Oversee daily operations of the Hampstead residence, ensuring smooth running of household systems and facilities
  • Manage the property’s maintenance schedules, coordinate and oversee all services, liaise with all contractors and engineers
  • Perform weekly and seasonal property checks to ensure the property remains in excellent condition and arrange and manage any repairs / maintenance / building work when required
  • Liaise with staff at the estates in Wales and France for smooth cross-property management
  • Ensure consistent security protocols (locking, alarms, appliances) and house readiness during family absences

Staff Coordination

  • Support household and external staff (Housekeepers, Chef, Gardeners, animal care)
  • Maintain household calendar; ensure clear communication of plans and schedules
  • Coordinate staff, overtime, annual leave, and provide support for events

Personal Assistant Duties

  • Manage diaries, social calendars, appointments, and travel for the family
  • Document and records management
  • Order and track gifts
  • Handle errands, online returns, and delivery logistics
  • Organise and pay invoices upon approval
  • Coordinate vehicle servicing, MOTs, and valeting
  • Support holiday planning for trips, including travel coordination, food ordering, and staff scheduling
  • Manage dog care: food, medication, grooming, and vet visits; Ensure consistent daily walks
  • Oversee fish feeding and aquarium maintenance, liaise with specialist as needed

Business & Administrative Support

  • Email management
  • Expense management
  • Document creation and management
  • General ad-hoc business support responsibilities

Work Structure

  • Part-time: minimum of five mornings per week at the primary residence in Hampstead
  • Hybrid flexibility with scope for growth in hours / responsibility
  • Out of hours availability required when necessary

Candidate Requirements

  • Exceptional organisational, communication, and multitasking skills
  • Tech-savvy with good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and digital calendars
  • Discreet, proactive, and solutions-oriented with high emotional intelligence
  • Comfortable liaising with contractors, managing staff, and responding flexibly to changing needs
  • Fluent English preferred; French a plus
  • Full UK driving licence required
  • Comfortable around dogs and children
