Part-time Housekeeper / Cook (Live-out)

Salary: £31,200 per annum (£20 per hour)

A warm family of four is seeking an experienced, discreet and hardworking Part-Time Housekeeper / Cook to support their household in Notting Hill.

The successful candidate will provide afternoon and evening support, ensuring the home remains beautifully maintained whilst preparing healthy European-style meals for the family. This role is ideal for someone seeking a part-time position within a private household where they can make a long-term contribution.

The family are informal in nature and are looking for a loyal, self-sufficient individual who takes genuine pride in their work and provides a high level of care and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

Housekeeping

• Maintaining the property to an immaculate standard
• Daily cleaning, dusting, vacuuming and mopping throughout the home
• Undertaking regular deep cleaning
• Caring for fine furnishings and household finishes
• Keeping all rooms beautifully presented and organised

Laundry & Wardrobe Management

• Managing laundry and ironing
• Wardrobe and closet organisation
• Caring for delicate garments

Cooking

• Preparing healthy European-style meals for the family
• Planning and cooking nutritious dishes with an emphasis on fresh ingredients
• Preparing meals that are low in carbohydrates, avoiding pasta and rice-based dishes
• Maintaining a clean and organised kitchen

Household Support

• Supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the household
• Working alongside the morning Housekeeper / Cook to ensure a seamless handover between shifts
• Providing occasional pet care for the family's two cats whilst the family are travelling
• Assisting with seasonal deep cleaning and household organisation projects during periods when the family are away

Candidate Requirements

The successful candidate will be:

• Experienced working within a HNW private household as a Housekeeper / Cook
• Skilled in housekeeping, laundry and wardrobe management
• Confident preparing healthy European-style meals
• Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
• Discreet, trustworthy and hardworking
• Self-sufficient with the ability to work independently
• Flexible and willing to assist with pet care when required
• Positive, professional and reliable
