Live-out Part-Time Housekeeper
Location: Brook Green, London

Salary: £18.00–£21.00 per hour
Hours/Days: Approximately 12 hours per week, spread over 3–5 days (afternoons preferred)

Our clients, based in Brook Green, are seeking a reliable, discreet, and experienced part-time Housekeeper to support the smooth day-to-day running of their private household. This is a long-term role suited to someone organised, proactive, and comfortable working independently in a calm family environment.

The household includes two adult children (present during holidays) and a cat. A cleaner attends regularly, so this role focuses on household support, laundry, cooking, errands, and general organisation rather than full-scale cleaning.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensuring the smooth running of the household, maintaining good standards of organisation and presentation
• Grocery shopping, preparing shopping lists, and managing household supplies
• Preparing simple, family-style dinners using provided recipes
• Kitchen upkeep, including unloading the dishwasher and keeping work areas tidy
• Laundry care, including washing and basic garment care
• Running local errands (e.g. dry cleaning, posting parcels)
• Daily care of the household cat, including feeding and litter tray maintenance
• Managing pet supplies and coordinating routine veterinary appointments
• Liaising with household service providers and contractors as required (e.g. alarm engineer)
• Occasional light outdoor maintenance (small patio sweeping, watering plants)
• Very occasional use of household equipment and ladder work for high dusting

Candidate Requirements

• Proven experience working in a private household
• Comfortable with pet care
• Good spoken and written English preferred
• Confident with ad-hoc admin tasks
• Highly organised, reliable, and able to work independently
• Discreet, trustworthy, and professional at all times
• Non-smoker preferred
• Comfortable with occasional light physical tasks
• Holds a valid DBS
• Right to work in the UK
