A private household is seeking an experienced and discreet Part-time Housekeeper to join their small household team in East Sussex.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation throughout the home, with duties including general housekeeping, cleaning, laundry, ironing, bed and linen care, and wardrobe organisation.

The role would suit a reliable, proactive and detail-oriented Housekeeper who takes pride in their work and understands the importance of discretion and privacy within a private household.

Key Responsibilities:

• Daily housekeeping and detailed cleaning
• Laundry and ironing
• Bed and linen changes
• Wardrobe and linen cupboard organisation
• Maintaining a consistently high standard of presentation
• Reporting any maintenance or household issues
• Supporting the wider household team as required

Requirements:

• Previous private household or high-end housekeeping experience
• Excellent attention to detail
• Reliable, organised and able to work independently
• Discreet, trustworthy and professional
• Flexible and happy to assist with a variety of household duties
• Experience working around dogs would be advantageous

Location: East Sussex
Start date: Early/mid August
Hours: Monday–Friday, 9.30am–1.30pm
Salary: £20 - £22 gph
