Our client is seeking an experienced and professional Part-Time Housekeeper to support the smooth running of a beautiful private residence in the Lake District. This is an excellent long-term opportunity for a proactive and detail-oriented Housekeeper who takes pride in maintaining a home to an exceptional standard.

Working alongside the Estate Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the property is beautifully presented at all times.

Key Responsibilities

• Housekeeping and cleaning to an exceptional standard
• Laundry, ironing and wardrobe care
• Bed making and changing of bed linen
• Kitchen and bathroom cleaning
• Household stock management
• Preparing guest accommodation
• Occasional meal preparation, if required
• Receiving deliveries and reporting maintenance issues
• Assisting with the care of the family's animals as required

Candidate Requirements

• Previous experience within a private household or luxury hospitality environment
• Excellent attention to detail with high housekeeping standards
• Organised, reliable and able to work independently
• A proactive and flexible approach to work
• Comfortable working around animals and happy to assist with their care when required
• Full UK driving licence preferred
• Professional, discreet and trustworthy

Hours

• 20–25 hours per week (to be confirmed), with flexibility required to meet the needs of the household
