Our client, a young family based in Wandsworth, is seeking a reliable, friendly and child-friendly Part-Time Housekeeper to join their household within the next couple of weeks.

The family live in a large six-bedroom property arranged over multiple floors, so the ideal candidate will be comfortable working across a substantial home and managing multiple flights of stairs.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the household to a high standard, with duties including:

• Deep cleaning and general housekeeping throughout the property
• Laundry and ironing
• Changing bed linen and making beds
• Emptying bins and keeping household areas tidy and organised
• Monitoring household stock levels and flagging when supplies need replenishing
• Cleaning silver when required
• Light outdoor duties, including sweeping and ensuring external areas are kept neat and well maintained
• Occasional babysitting, arranged in advance and paid separately as overtime

Hours

• Monday – Friday: 6:30am–10:30am or 7:00am–11:00am
• Occasional evening babysitting: By prior arrangement and paid as overtime

Salary

• £20–£22 gross per hour, depending on experience
• Self-employed candidates preferred

The family are looking for someone reliable, proactive and warm in nature, who takes pride in their work and is comfortable working around children. Experience working within UHNW homes is desirable.
