Part-Time Live-In Housekeeper & House-Sitter
Location: Notting Hill, London
Salary: £1,900 gross per month. (approx. £22GPH)
Start Date: January 2027
Working Hours: Part-time, approx. 20 hours per week. Hours are flexible, but approximately 2.5 days per week, e.g. Monday, Wednesday (half day) and Friday
Accommodation: Private bedroom, bathroom, and kitchen within the house.

Our clients are seeking a reliable, trustworthy Housekeeper and House-Sitter to live-in full-time and look after their large family home in Notting Hill, working on a part-time basis.

The family have relocated abroad and are rarely in London, usually for 2-3 days a month (1-3 people) and for a couple of weeks a year, when the whole family of five may be in residence. Occasionally, around once a quarter, the house may be used by friends of the family for a few days. The workload is therefore light, but the house is large and needs to be kept immaculate.

The successful candidate will be discreet, independent and dependable, comfortable living in and looking after a valuable property for long periods.

Duties to include, but are not limited to:

• Hoovering and tidying the whole house from top to bottom once a week
• General housekeeping and upkeep of the property across all six levels
• Preparing the house ahead of the family’s or guests’ arrival (e.g. beds, linen, fresh towels)
• Keeping the house clean and tidy after the family or guests have left
• Living in and house-sitting year-round, except during annual leave
• Receiving deliveries and keeping an eye on the property while the family are away
• Reporting any maintenance issues or concerns to the family promptly
• Coordinating with the maintenance company and ensuring repairs are done when required

Candidate Requirements:

• Previous experience in a private household
• Trustworthy, discreet and independent, able to work with minimal supervision
• Reliable and happy to live in the property long term
• Excellent, checkable references
• Right to work in the UK
