The Family

An UHNW family based in Central London is seeking an experienced, proactive and highly organised Rota Nanny / Family Assistant  to join their fully staffed household.

The family have two children, including one currently attending boarding school (aged 10).

The Role

This role combines high-level childcare with extensive administrative and organisational support, requiring a candidate who can seamlessly move between hands-on care and PA responsibilities.

The successful candidate will be calm, discreet, highly adaptable and confident managing both the children’s needs and the administrative demands of a busy, fast-paced household.

Key Responsibilities

Duties will include, but are not limited to:

Childcare & Development

  • Ensuring the children’s health, safety and overall wellbeing at all times
  • Supporting emotional, social and behavioural development
  • Providing structured academic support
  • Languages, mathematics and core curriculum subjects
  • Maintaining routines and consistency, particularly around boarding school transitions
  • Liaising with tutors, schools and external professionals where required

Family PA & Administrative Support

  • Managing the children’s diaries, schedules and logistics with precision
  • Creating and maintaining detailed spreadsheets, trackers and itineraries
  • Coordinating appointments (medical, educational, extracurricular)
  • Acting as a key point of communication between Principals, staff and external contacts
  • Anticipating needs and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations

Medical & Wellbeing Management

  • Overseeing all medical-related administration and care
  • Attending doctor and specialist appointments
  • Administering medication where required
  • Maintaining fully stocked and organised medical supplies

Travel & Wardrobe Management

  • Packing and preparing for frequent international travel
  • Managing detailed travel itineraries and schedules
  • Overseeing full wardrobe organisation and inventories
  • Coordinating clothing, luggage and daily requirements whilst travelling
  • Assisting with children’s laundry when travelling

Candidate Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience within UHNW private households
  • Proven experience in a Nanny / PA or highly administrative Nanny role
  • Demonstrated longevity in previous positions
  • Strong IT skills, including confidence with digital scheduling, spreadsheets and organisation tools
  • Exceptional organisational ability with a proactive, forward-thinking approach
  • A calm, positive and discreet demeanour
  • A kind but firm approach with natural authority
  • High emotional intelligence and patience
  • Impeccable presentation and professionalism
  • Full flexibility, particularly with extensive international travel

Working Schedule

  • Rota: 3 weeks on / 3 weeks off
  • Hours: 24/7 whilst on duty

Accommodation

  • Private bedroom located near the children’s rooms
  • Own bathroom
