We are seeking an experienced and reliable Temporary Housekeeper / House Sitter to support our client at their private residence near Andover, Hampshire, while they are on holiday. The role will involve covering for permanent staff and ensuring the smooth running of the household during this period.

During the first week, you will work alongside the principals.  During the second week, you will be responsible for maintaining the property independently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain the property to a high standard of cleanliness and presentation
• Carry out daily housekeeping duties, including cleaning, tidying, and laundry
• Walk the dogs (3) twice daily
• Feed and care for the dogs, cats, and chickens, ensuring food and water are provided daily
• Undertake occasional deep cleaning as required
• Ensure the home remains secure and well-maintained in the principals’ absence

Ideal Candidate:

• Previous experience working independently in a private household or similar setting
• Highly motivated, trustworthy, and able to manage duties with minimal supervision
• Comfortable around animals and confident handling dogs, cats, and poultry
• A driver would be advantageous due to the property’s rural location
• Attention to detail and a proactive approach to household care

Hours:

• 24th – 28th November: 8:00am – 5:00pm
• 29th November – 5th December: Flexible hours (approx. 6 hours per day)
