Our client who is based in Wiltshire/Hampshire is seeking a team of experienced Temporary Butlers to support a prestigious private shooting estate across various dates from September 2026 through to the end of January 2027. This role requires polished professionals with exceptional service standards, flexibility, and experience in private estates, country houses, or luxury hospitality environments. Successful candidates will play a key role in delivering seamless guest experiences during busy shoot dates, private events, and estate operations.

The ideal candidate will be personable, highly organised, and confident working in a prestigious country estate environment where service excellence and adaptability are essential. Experience supporting shooting parties, sporting estates, or seasonal private hospitality is highly desirable. This is an excellent opportunity for seasoned butlers seeking premium temporary assignments within an exclusive private estate setting during the busy shooting season.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver formal and informal food and beverage service to principals and guests
• Provide exceptional front-of-house support during shoot days, estate entertaining, and private events
• Silver service, table setting, and dining room presentation to the highest standards
• Guest room preparation, refreshes, and turn-down service where required
• Coordinate with chefs, housekeepers, and wider estate staff to ensure smooth daily operations
• Assist with guest arrivals, departures, and overall hospitality experience
• Maintain discretion, professionalism, and immaculate personal presentation at all times
• Support wardrobe, boot room, or estate hosting duties as needed

Candidate Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Butler within private households, country estates, luxury lodges, or high-end hospitality
• Strong silver service and formal dining experience
• Flexible, proactive, and calm under pressure
• Excellent communication and guest service skills
• Impeccable presentation and attention to detail
• Driving licence preferred due to rural estate locations
• Available for seasonal temporary assignments

Duration: Various temporary assignments from September 2025 to January 2026

• Dates and rota provided in advance based on estate requirements
• Flexibility essential, including weekends and peak shoot dates

Salary: £350 GPD
