Our client requires a temporary live-in Housekeeper/Cook to work as part of a team to support an UHNW family in Wiltshire. The estate is occupied by a young family. This placement will be an ASAP start for approximately 2 months, however could be extended.

This role will be live-in with bills included. Working 5 days per week. The candidate will be required to undergo a week’s trial period prior to engagement.

Duties to include:

• Assisting the team with all functions of housekeeping, laundry, and ironing
• Assist with management of all household laundry including clothing, fine fabrics, linens etc
• Ironing, pressing, folding, and appropriately hanging/storing all items
• Daily cleaning of the private apartments in the property
• Ensure the highest standards of cleanliness are maintained throughout the household
• Cooking simple but nutritious meals for the family daily (when entertaining outside caterers are on site)
• Provisioning and taking stock of all household items
• Flower arranging
• Polishing antiques, marble, and silverware
• Ensuring all bedrooms are always clean and in a state of readiness if family are away

Candidate requirements:

• Previous experience in a Housekeeper role supporting a UHNWI
• Very high attention to detail
• A team player
• A positive, can-do attitude
• Excellent communication skills
• Good standard of written and spoken English preferred
• Trustworthy and handles confidential information appropriately and discreetly
• Longevity as demonstrated by previous employment
• Able to prioritise and multitask effectively
• Right to work within the UK
• Excellent checkable references
• Driver with a clean licence

End date: May/June 2024
Working days: 5 days a week, shifts varying
Salary: £38,000-£40,000 pro rata DOE, to be employed on a short-term contract
