Our client, based in Islington, is seeking a professional and discreet Temporary Housekeeper to provide holiday cover for their current Housekeeper over a five-week period.

The position will begin with a two-week handover period, during which you will work alongside the current Housekeeper to gain a thorough understanding of the client’s standards and household routines. You will then take over independently for the remaining three weeks whilst the Housekeeper is on leave.

Duties to include but not limited to:

• All general housekeeping and cleaning duties, including vacuuming, dusting, and surface care
• Deep cleaning
• Careful and appropriate cleaning of a variety of surfaces and materials
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness in all rooms
• Changing bed linen and general tidying of bedrooms
• Other ad-hoc household tasks as required

Candidate Requirements:

• Proven experience in private households or similar domestic roles
• In-depth knowledge of how to clean and care for different household surfaces and materials
• Must have the right to work in the UK
• Professional and discreet

Start date: Thursday 24th July, flexibility is required
End date: Thursday 21st August, flexibility is required
Working hours: 3-4 hours per day, once to twice a week, ideally on a Thursday or Friday

Salary: £20 - £23 gph
