Our client, with a large and highly formal residence in Mayfair is seeking an experienced Temporary Laundress to join their household team from for an initial period of approximately 2 weeks, with the potential for the assignment to be extended.

This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate with experience working within UHNW private households, luxury residences, or five-star hotels. The successful candidates will possess exceptional laundry skills, meticulous attention to detail, and a thorough understanding of luxury garment and linen care.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Managing all laundry duties to the highest standard
• Washing, pressing, ironing, steaming, and folding garments and household linens
• Caring for delicate fabrics, couture clothing, and luxury garments
• Wardrobe organisation and maintenance
• Linen management, including bed linen, towels, and household textiles
• Identifying and treating stains using appropriate methods
• Ensuring laundry rooms remain organised, clean, and well-stocked
• Maintaining the household's exceptionally high standards at all times

Candidate Requirements

• Previous experience within a UHNW private household or five-star hotel environment is essential
• Exceptional knowledge of fabric care, garment handling, and luxury laundry procedures
• Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to maintaining the highest standards
• Professional presentation and ability to work effectively within a large team
• Organised, reliable, and proactive
• Friendly, discreet, and hardworking with a positive attitude

Start Date

• 23rd June

Contract Length

• Approximately 2 weeks, with potential for extension

Working Hours

• 8–10 hours per day (approx 10am - 7pm)
• 6 days per week, including weekends

Salary

• £25 gross per hour
