Our client is seeking a warm, energetic and proactive Temporary Nanny / Housekeeper to join their fully staffed household in Virginia Water, Surrey on an immediate basis until 11th August.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Nanny who enjoys working with young children and is happy to lend a hand with light housekeeping duties when required. The primary focus of the role is the care of one delightful 4-year-old girl, with housekeeping responsibilities only forming part of the role during quieter periods.

The household is supported by a large housekeeping team, so the successful candidate will primarily focus on childcare, stepping in to assist the housekeeping staff only if additional support is needed.

The Role

You will be responsible for providing attentive, engaging and age-appropriate care, ensuring the child is happy, entertained and following her daily routine. The ideal candidate will be bubbly, positive and confident caring for toddlers and preschool-aged children.

Key Responsibilities

• Sole charge care of one 4-year-old child.
• Planning fun, engaging and educational activities.
• Supporting the child's daily routine, including meals, playtime and bedtime preparations.
• Encouraging positive behaviour and creating a safe, nurturing environment.
• Accompanying the child on outings and activities where required.
• Assisting with child-related housekeeping duties.
• Supporting the housekeeping team with general household tasks during quieter periods, if required.
• Working collaboratively with the wider household team to ensure the smooth running of the household.

Candidate Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

• Previous professional nanny experience, particularly with toddlers and preschool-aged children.
• A warm, energetic and engaging personality.
• A flexible and proactive attitude with a willingness to assist wherever required.
• Previous experience working within a private household (preferred).
• The ability to work well as part of a larger household team.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• A professional, discreet and reliable approach.

Working Hours

• Approximately 12-hour shifts.
• Exact start and finish times will be confirmed prior to the commencement of the role.
• Flexibility is essential.

Uniform

Candidates will be required to wear navy polo shirts and navy trousers. A uniform allowance of up to £50 will be reimbursed by the client.
