Travel Housekeeper / Cook / PA
Location: South Kensington, London (with international travel to California & Greece)
Hours: Typically 10:00am – 7:00pm or 11:00am – 8:00pm (flexibility required)
Contract: Full-time, permanent, Live-In
Accommodation: Self contained areas TBC but will ensure privacy and comfortability
Start date: Flexible / ASAP
Salary: £55,000 gross per annum

Overview:

We are seeking an experienced, adaptable, and discreet Housekeeper / Cook / PA to support a female principal within a fully staffed private household.

The principal is primarily based in South Kensington, London, and spends approximately 4–5 months per year in California (typically mid-January to mid-May, and again over Thanksgiving). There is also a summer stay at the family’s villa in Greece. International travel with the principal is required as part of the role.

The household is well organised and supported with established staff. The principal is known for being warm, respectful, and considerate, ensuring her team is well looked after and provided with comfortable accommodation when travelling.

This role would suit someone seeking a long-term position within a relaxed yet professional household environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Housekeeping:

• Maintaining the home to a high standard of cleanliness and organisation
• Laundry care, including washing, ironing and wardrobe management
• Ensuring bedrooms, bathrooms and living areas are consistently well presented
• Coordinating with other household staff to ensure smooth daily operations
• Managing household supplies and liaising with suppliers as required

Cooking:

• Preparing small, healthy, organic meals for the principal
• Ensuring the kitchen remains clean and organised
• Occasional cooking for the principal’s three adult sons when visiting
• Adapting to the principal’s dietary preferences and lifestyle

PA & Household Administration:

• Managing appointments and light diary coordination
• Assisting with travel logistics and packing
• Liaising with service providers and property contacts
• Handling ad hoc administrative tasks
• Supporting organisation across the UK, US, and Greece residences

Requirements:

• Proven experience working in a private household as a Housekeeper or similar
• Confident cook with experience preparing healthy, balanced meals
• Organised
• Flexible and willing to travel internationally for extended periods
• Discreet, professional, and able to work harmoniously within a staffed household
• UK and USA passport / VISA is essential
