Senior Housekeeper / House Manager
Location: Europe, UAE & UK (International Travel Required)

We are seeking a highly professional, discreet, and exceptionally organised Senior Housekeeper / House Manager to oversee and personally manage the day-to-day operations of multiple private residences across Europe, the UAE, and the UK. This is a hands-on role requiring a refined service style, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to operate independently across international properties.

Key Responsibilities:

House preparation & arrival:

  • Prepare each residence in advance of the family’s arrival, ensuring all systems are fully operational
  • Ensure the home is immaculate, welcoming, and stocked according to the family’s preferences

Housekeeping & Presentation:

  • Carry out daily and deep cleaning to an exceptionally high standard
  • Maintain organisation across all rooms, storage areas, and household systems
  • Oversee and maintain presentation standards across all properties

Laundry & Wardrobe Management:

  • Full responsibility for laundry, ironing, and care of delicate garments and fine fabrics
  • Organise wardrobes and seasonal storage, ensuring efficiency and accessibility

Household Supplies & Inventory:

  • Manage household inventories, including groceries, cleaning products, and essential supplies
  • Ensure consistency and readiness across all international residences

Meal Assistance & Service:

  • Assist with light cooking or meal preparation when required
  • Plan and oversee meal service, including formal and informal table settings
  • Maintain high standards of dining etiquette tailored to different occasions and dietary requirements

Guest & Family Service:

  • Provide attentive, personalised service to family members and guests
  • Ensure comfort, privacy, and discretion at all times

Travel & Logistics:

  • Assist with packing and unpacking for international travel
  • Coordinate logistics between residences, ensuring smooth transitions

Errands & Personal Assistance:

  • Run errands such as grocery shopping, dry cleaning, and personal requests
  • Provide flexible support across locations as required

Budget & Expense Management:

  • Track household expenses and manage budgets across all properties
  • Maintain accurate records and reporting
  • Confidentiality & Professionalism
  • Uphold the highest standards of discretion, confidentiality, and trust

Required Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure environments
  • Exceptional housekeeping skills with meticulous attention to detail
  • Confident cooking ability, adaptable to dietary preferences; nutrition knowledge desirable
  • Excellent organisational and multitasking skills across multiple residences
  • Strong time management and ability to work autonomously
  • Experience in fine dining service, formal table setting, and etiquette
  • High levels of discretion, integrity, and professionalism
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, culturally adaptable
  • Prior experience in private households, butler service, or luxury hospitality preferred

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; formal hospitality or household management training is advantageous
  • Proven experience in luxury hospitality, private service, or estate/household management
  • Fluency in English preferred
  • Knowledge of international customs, etiquette, and protocols preferred
  • Accommodation and travel paid
  • Salary: To be presented
